Made my day moment #1

Today was a perfect day. The weather was perfect. Luis and I had a perfect morning. A perfect breakfast of waffles and a banana cherry smoothie. Just an all around amazing day. To top it off, I had one of those "Made my day" moments.

I was walking behind a kid at church today. I happen to baby-sit this kid on occasion. As this 4 year old looks back and sees me he says, "Hey Lisa, I love you!"

Perfect way to top my amazing day. Can't wait to be a mom and hear this all the time.

Freckles is 1

Happy Birthday Freckles!

My little guy turned 1 on the 6th (I know I am over a week late. What a bad mommy) I can't believe how much he has changed in a year. He has turned out so handsome dont you think?
Here are a couple pictures of his first couple months.

It is amazing to think that he used to be so small. I used to be able to carry him around. Now he is 50 pounds, and bigger than his mom. He has learned so much in this past year. Though how to listen when new people are present is not one of them. He still has his love for people. He has kept his sweet nature. There is nothing Luis and I enjoy more than sitting at home and playing with our puppy. He has learned the basics; sit, stay, come, ok. We also taught him "the nose trick"

He loves playing with luis and my dad.

I am excited to enjoy many more years with my boys.
